History
Alex Stanford formed Stanford Law Firm after several years of practicing with his father. When his father retired in 2017, Alex was moved to continue with Stanford Law Firm instead of moving to a large firm. This would allow him to continue to bring his clients the dedicated, specialized, ethical service they had come to know and love. Being a solo practitioner allows Stanford Law Firm to regularly learn new types of law and how to best integrate them into the practice. Serving the People of Acadiana will always be his passion.

Alex Stanford
Alex Stanford is a graduate of Westminster Christian Academy in Opelousas, Louisiana. Post high school, he collected many degrees, including a PhD in Topological Algebra. He chose Paul M. Hebert Law School at LSU and finally settled into his love of the law.
While Alex is a resident of Lafayette, his heart holds roots in Opelousas and helping the citizens of the city. He feels strongly about keeping small business alive and well in St. Landry Parish.
Alex is a dedicated family man. The only things he loves more than the law are his wife, Mrs. Lindsey Hefner Stanford and his four children.
